Full-Time Training - Testimonies

What a blessing and what a privilege it is to have gone through two years of the Full-Time Training! I chose to come here after finishing college because of my love for the Lord. When I first heard about the Full-Time Training, I was still in high school, and I wasn't sure if it was for me. But I have to say, that through my years in college, the Lord attracted me with His beauty, and I began to love Him more and more. I began to see that the Lord needs a group of people filled with the truth of the Bible, willing to be trained by the Lord to be functioning Christians (Ephesians 4:16). I didn't want to be a superficial or shallow believer; I wanted to live the highest life in the universe, life as we were created to live it.

I came to the training a little nervous, but also full of excitement and anticipation. I wondered if I would make it, but I also knew that the Lord's grace would be sufficient for any situation. As it turned out, the Full-Time Training was full of enjoyment from day one. I found myself surrounded with two hundred other young people who loved the Lord and had the same heart as I did. I especially enjoyed being with my housemates and teammates, singing, praying, and fellowshipping. There were times of misunderstanding among us, but those turned out to be some of the sweetest times, for they gave the Lord the opportunity to gain us more as we desperately turned to Him. Many lessons were learned, not just in our classes, but also in our daily living, in the ordinary situations.

In these two years, I have learned to depend more and more on the Lord and on the members of His Body. I have gained a deeper understanding and love for His Word. I have developed a heart to reach out to people. These two years have changed my life in ways that will have eternal value.
